order that was signed by president trump earlier today. live at the wilson building, matt. >> perhaps you saw this if you were in the district today, quite the peck call green peace demonstrators went to new heights to protest donald trump. this morning they scaled 27-foot crane and put up a huge banner with the word resist on it. fox5's paul wagner is live tonight in northwest where police, we are told, are still waiting for that group to come down. paul? >> yes, dc police have called this a daring and dangerous stunt, carried out by green peace executives, to get the attention of the white house, and they're still on the crane. let's show you what we can still see right now. there are two protesters right there under that light. they've been there since last night. their job, simply, was to block that ladder, leading up the crane, 200 feet high, so that the police couldn't come after them. let's show you now up on to the crane.

again, it is 200 feet in the air, there are five protesters, still up there at this hour, for the last several hours, they've been trying to pull in that banner, wrap it up, and take it away with them, then come down that crane. but they've been meticulous in making sure that they're safe apparently, and that they can get this done safely, before they come down. let's show you some video that we shot earlier today. now, what we understand from law enforcement sources is that these seven protesters broke into this job site, sometime overnight, and according to the law enforcement sources, they're going to be charged with burglary too. they then got on to the crane. it was around 6:00 this morning, dc police got a call, saying there were at least three on the crane, and when police arrived, they actually found out that there were seven. and then found out exactly what they were going to be doing. no
